The way you promote your workshops will depend on your target audience and the price you set for your offerings.
Different settings will create different experiences, and it’s important to align your approach with your goals and the people you’re looking to serve.
Start Small: Friends & Family
For your first workshop, I recommend hosting a casual event with friends or family.
A potluck is a great idea, and you can make the workshop free while encouraging participants to purchase their personalized Destiny Blueprint or Living Design reports. This setting will allow you to practice, build confidence, and get comfortable facilitating in a supportive environment. Plus, it offers a great opportunity to refine your presentation style and receive feedback.
Expand Locally: Partnering with Venues
As you gain confidence, you might want to expand your reach by hosting workshops at local venues that are looking to attract more traffic during slower hours. While I prefer hosting workshops with groups who already know each other—because the impact tends to be more profound—this can still be an enjoyable and rewarding way to promote Human Design.
For example, I regularly hold monthly workshops during the tourist season here in Nicaragua. The key is finding venues that align with your values and can provide an intimate space for growth and learning.
Level Up: Businesses and Retreats
Once you feel comfortable leading workshops, consider reaching out to businesses to offer team-building experiences or to retreat facilitators who are looking to enhance the value of their events.
These environments are particularly impactful because the participants often know each other, which fosters deeper understanding and connection through Human Design. Working with companies and retreats also allows you to position your workshops as a premium offering, adding real value to their existing structure.
Family-Oriented Workshops
If you already work with clients or families, you can offer workshops to help them improve their relationships. Human Design is a powerful tool for fostering understanding within families, and promoting workshops that focus on family dynamics can be highly impactful.
