There are many ways to plan and receive compensation for your Human Design workshops, and it’s important to align your approach with both your values and your inner guidance.
Remember, the time you invest and the wisdom you offer are highly valuable, and the transformation participants will experience is profound.
Let’s explore some options for how you can be compensated:
Free with Upsell Opportunities
You can invite people to attend for free, perhaps organizing a casual potluck-style gathering. I only suggest this for your first time to build confidence.
While the workshop is free, there still exists valuable opportunities for commissions:
- Destiny Blueprint (earns you an $11.25-$12.50 USD commission) or
- the Living Design book ($45-$50 USD commission)
Donation-Based Workshops
Asking for donations allows you to provide a low-barrier entry while still creating opportunities for compensation with an integrity-based sliding-scale model.
- On your marketing material, you would simply write donations without a suggested amount.
- In-person, after you complete the talk about the 9 Centers, you inform them this is your work, your love, your heart, and your energy to serve humanity and you are asking for a donation of $10, $20, or that you’re even open to receiving $5000… whatever feels aligned.
This approach can feel accessible to more people, while still allowing you to receive compensation that reflects the value of the experience.
In addition to receiving a donation for your time you again offer their Destiny Blueprint (earning you an $11.25-$12.50 USD commission) or the Living Design book (with a $45-$50 USD commission).
Sliding-Scale Admission
You can set your expectation per person (maybe that is $20) with a sliding scale as low as $5. Or maybe your market has more money, and you want to set your rate at $40 a person with a minimum of $10 a person.
Purchase-Based Admission
Another option is to require participants to invest in their Destiny Blueprint ($50) or Living Design book ($200) as part of their admission to the workshop.
This ensures that participants are already invested in their journey and provides you with a clear structure for compensation.
Flat-Rate for Retreats, Businesses, & Families
If you’re working with retreat centers, wellness spaces, businesses, or even families you can charge a flat rate for hosting your workshop. Depending on the scope and size, you might charge anywhere from $250 to $500 per workshop. This method gives you upfront clarity and consistency in your earnings.
